Basic, intermediate, and advanced pistol
Oni Tactical offers basic pistol and CCW courses that satisfy Colorado’s requirements to certify qualified students for their concealed-carry permit, while providing strong fundamental skills to best equip those students to continue their personal journey in improving their marksmanship skills.
Intermediate and advanced classes train students on advanced engagements, where they learn distance, tactics, and other important skills to best help them to be effective defensive shooters.
DUE TO NATIONWIDE AMMUNITION SHORTAGES, we will be requiring less ammunition for each of our classes. Oni Tactical strives to maintain cutting edge training while being understanding that not everyone will be able to acquire the ammunition or materials needed to participate at the original level of our classes. Although we believe that there can be no arguing the importance of live-fire practice, we appreciate the patience shown to our instructors during this time, and have utilized this as an opportunity to teach our students how to effectively practice their skills with efficient use of ammunition.
Basic Pistol
This class is designed for new shooters as well as experienced shooters who want to sharpen their basics. With a focus on safety and proper firearms etiquette, students will leave this class with the confidence and foundation necessary to get shots on paper and continue their training on their own. Some of the knowledge we cover, such as proper sight-alignment and sight-picture, is covered in our blog here, and is available for the public.

Intermediate and Defensive Pistol
These classes introduce students into more of the practical and defensive concepts of pistol shooting. Here, students are introduced to drawing from a holster, drawing from concealment, and shooting from more dynamic stances and positions. It is in these classes that students start learning how to move with and manipulate their gun.
Advanced Engagements
Taught by our instructors with military and SWAT experience, these classes are for competent, experienced shooters. Students will learn tactical concepts that will round out their skills as a defensive shooter and prepare them to better whatever lies ahead. Be prepared to “run your gun”.
