Carbine and Rifle

Oni Tactical Carbine and Rifle courses are taught by our instructors who have a range of experience. From new shooters to advanced practitioners, our classes will polish your skills and help you to move your firearm like an extension of your body.

DUE TO NATIONWIDE AMMUNITION SHORTAGES, we will be requiring less ammunition for each of our classes. Oni Tactical strives to maintain cutting edge training while being understanding that not everyone will be able to acquire the ammunition or materials needed to participate at the original level of our classes. Although we believe that there can be no arguing the importance of live-fire practice, we appreciate the patience shown to our instructors during this time, and have utilized this as an opportunity to teach our students how to effectively practice their skills with efficient use of ammunition.

Basic Carbine

The first of our series of carbine classes, this course teaches students on the basic functions of their carbines, fundamentals on care, handling, and storage, and basic marksmanship. In this class, students are also introduced to the concept of “zeroing” their firearm and what its effective ranges likely are.

Intermediate Carbine

Here, we build from the concepts of the first class and speak on the importance of the battle zero, distancing, and drills that build strong basics for dynamic shooting. It is in these classes where proper carbine habits are built and drilled, and a strong foundation is established. Students signing up for this class should have experience in manipulating their carbine, and should already be proficient in gun safety and basics.

Advanced Engagements

Shooting from dynamic positions, while on the move, around cover/concealment, and with a team are a few of the things covered in this advanced class. Students will move and work in this class, pushing their skills, and will grow in their ability to handle their carbine.

Students interested in taking this course MUST have already taken the Intermediate Carbine course unless an Oni Tactical instructor approves their participation based on the student’s previous experience.
